The portal rug
The portal rug is a handwoven, naturally dyed piece of love. Designed by me and created by Pedro, a Mexican artisan I met during my travels. May this portal serve as a testimony of love, a portal to your heart.

This design is a rug entirely handmade with sheep’s wool, which was dyed using natural dyes, such as wild plants collected during the rainy season for the brown and green tones, as well as indigo for the blue tone. It features flat weaves, raised textures, and also braid-shaped embroidery. It is a truly labor-intensive piece that took approximately a month and a half to complete.
